T rutilans. Captured Boulard (RCA), arrived Edinburgh 18/4/69. Passaged into mice, frozen isolates, 1969. -> 2x mouse passage, cloning, AL34/12; frozen stabilate AL35, 4/4/98. Blood isolates of naturally-infected Thicket Rats captured in the CAR in 1965 (Landau & Chabaud)
