Isolated Congo-Brazzaville, 28.10.72 from Thamnomys rutilans. Frozen blood sent to LSHTM by Irene Landau. Inoculated into mice in 28.9.73, sent to Edinburgh 18.10.73 (mouse 1DS). Cloned, 19/7/74; stabilates 15DS11, 15DS30 made on 6/8/74. 15DS30 -> 2 mouse passage, mosquito transmission; frozen stabilates (39DS) 6/5/75
