Original Mulata isolate from Anopheles dureni in kamena (River Kanga), Katanga, made by IH Vincke in 1952. Mouse 1γ received from R Killick-Kendrick, 13/8/70; frozen stabilates 1/9/70. Mouse 1DM received from J Bafort, LSTH, 7/3/72; frozen stabilates 21/11/80. Mouse 1DX received from Frank Cox, LOndon, 7/12/73; frozen stabilates 13/12/75.
