Original isolate from wild-caught T. rutlians in Congo-Brazzaville. Passaged into mouse 28.10.66. Deep freeze -> mosquito, mouse x4. 194zz received Edinburgh from Paris 25/11/68, passaged into mice; deep froze isolates 2N1, 11/12/68, 22N2, 6/12/68. Second infected mouse named 4DJ received from I Landau 24/12/71, only P.v. lentum visible, isolate 194zz (DJ). Deep froze sample 6/1/72
